Microsoft Viva Connections cards in SharePoint agents
Roadmap ID: 412621
SharePoint agents now integrate Viva Connections cards into conversations, seamlessly presenting relevant cards based on discussion topics. This enhancement ensures users can access and interact with key information without disrupting their workflow, driving efficiency and an improved user experience.
SharePoint eSignature for Microsoft Word
Roadmap ID: 486707
SharePoint eSignature now enables users to request eSignatures directly from Microsoft Word documents, eliminating the need for prior PDF conversion. During the process, a PDF copy of the Word document is automatically generated and shared with signers, ensuring that the original Word file remains inaccessible. Signer details, such as email addresses, are not stored within the document, and the signed PDF is securely saved in the same location as the original.
Additionally, the entire signing process remains within the Microsoft 365 Trust Boundary, maintaining security and compliance.
Use SharePoint quick steps to automate common tasks and workflows
Roadmap ID: NIL
The Automate menu now allows users to create customized quick steps for common tasks, such as composing emails, initiating Microsoft Teams chats with specified People columns, sending approval requests, executing flows, and setting column values across multiple items. This feature introduces a user-friendly sentence-builder experience, similar to Lists and SharePoint rules. Following the rollout, users can configure quick steps within any list or library, streamlining routine processes directly from the Automate menu.
SharePoint: New document library template: "Resume repository" for resume organization and hiring
Roadmap ID: NIL
The "Resume Repository" library template is available to tenants with pay-as-you-go billing services enabled, offering autofill columns that automatically extract key resume details such as name, email, phone number, college, and degree.
Additionally, preconfigured choices and people-based columns help streamline hiring and interview coordination. SharePoint users can create and utilize this template within their sites, simplifying resume management and recruitment workflows.
